Your Mount Kilimanjaro trekking adventure begins with a drive from Arusha or Moshi to Marangu Gate for registration. Begin trekking through lush rainforest filled with giant trees, colorful birds, and monkeys.
Leave the rainforest behind and enter the moorland zone with spectacular views of Mawenzi Peak and Kibo Summit.
This extra acclimatization day increases your chances of reaching Uhuru Peak successfully. Optional hikes toward Zebra Rocks provide stunning views and help your body adapt to high altitude.
