The Ngorongoro Crater day trip is the most popular — a UNESCO World Heritage Site with the highest concentration of wildlife in Africa. Tarangire and Lake Manyara are also excellent shorter options.

Yes. The Ngorongoro Crater gives you the best chance of seeing lion, elephant, buffalo and black rhino in a single day. Leopards are more commonly spotted in the Serengeti on multi-day safaris.

Prices vary by park and group size. Arusha National Park day tours typically start from $180 per person, Tarangire and Lake Manyara from $220, and Ngorongoro Crater day trips from $320 per person including park fees, guide and 4×4 vehicle.

Yes. We operate day trips from both Arusha and Moshi. Materuni Waterfalls and Kilimanjaro foothill hikes are best from Moshi, while Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Lake Manyara are closest to Arusha.

The dry season from June to October offers the best wildlife viewing because animals gather around water sources. January and February are also excellent, especially for calving season in the southern parks. Day trips run year-round.

A Ngorongoro Crater day trip from Arusha takes approximately 12 to 14 hours, including 3 to 4 hours of driving each way and 5 to 6 hours of game driving inside the crater.
