Itinerary

06:30 AM – Hotel Pick-Up

Your professional mountain guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi. Drive to Marangu Gate, the starting point of your Kilimanjaro day hike.

08:00 AM – Arrival at Marangu Gate

Complete registration and park entry procedures. Meet your hiking guide and begin your adventure along the famous Marangu Route.

08:30 AM – Begin the Hike

Start hiking through the beautiful rainforest. Enjoy the fresh mountain air and look out for birds, monkeys, colorful plants, and other wildlife. Your guide will provide information about Mount Kilimanjaro and the surrounding environment.

11:30 AM – Rest & Scenic Break

Take a short break along the trail to enjoy the peaceful forest surroundings and take photographs.

12:30 PM – Picnic Lunch

Enjoy a packed lunch and refreshments in a designated area before continuing your hike.

01:30 PM – Continue Hiking

Continue exploring the Marangu trail toward Mandara Hut. Depending on your fitness level and trail conditions, reach the designated turnaround point or Mandara Hut area.

02:30 PM – Begin Descent

Start descending through the rainforest toward Marangu Gate. Take your time and enjoy the changing scenery.

04:30 PM – Arrive at Marangu Gate

Complete the exit procedures and receive your hiking certificate, where applicable.

05:00 PM – Return to Arusha/Moshi

Drive back to your hotel with memorable experiences from your Kilimanjaro day adventure.
